"The Knob"

"The Knob" is a very special place on the Ervin Family farm in Independence, WV.  The ~130 acre farm covers much of a hilltop and surrounding area in Preston County.  The area up there is absolutely beautiful...overlooking West Virginia mountains and valleys.

On top of the mountain is a large, open hayfield.  That is where our wedding reception will be.  In that field, there is another fairly large hill which we have nicknamed "The Knob".  That is where I proposed to Kathy and also where my sister and brother-in-law were married.  The views from "The Knob" are spectacular.

We've decided not to post any pictures of "The Knob" until after our wedding...we want you all to be surprised.

Kathy and I would like to thank her mom, Anita, and my mom and dad, Margie and Byron, for blessing us so much and for letting us have our wedding up on the Knob.
