About Kathy

My life has been a wonderful journey. I was raised in the cute, little harbor town of Lexington, Michigan on the Lake Huron shore. I am the youngest of seven children. I am blessed to have four older brothers and two older sisters, from whom I have learned so much. I will turn 30 in July...in fact, my 30th birthday is the day after Bud and I are married! I was born on 7/8/77 and I will be married on 7/7/07. God's timing is so beautifully evident. After graduating high school, I spread my wings and flew to East Lansing, Michigan where I became a proud Spartan at Michigan State University. My sophomore year at Michigan State was a significant time in my life. I came to know Jesus as my Savior and God in March of 1997! My decision to live for God and to follow Jesus has opened up paths for me to take that I never would have dreamed. The first path came upon my graduation from MSU. I moved to Lodi, California (in the central valley of CA) in September, 1999. My brothers Eric and John were living there at the time. God had specifically led me to move to CA, and He provided the perfect job for that season in my life. I worked for a husband and wife who had a foster home for boys in their home. I worked as staff to help run the household. I lived in Lodi for 3 1/2 years. My decision to leave CA came when I was offered to fill the role as Healer at the Front Desk at Mountain State Spinal Care in Morgantown, West Virginia. My dear friends, Lucas and Amy (Amy and I graduated from high school together) are chiropractors who created their own practice in Morgantown. I moved across the country once more in June, 2003 to join the team at Mountain State Spinal Care and to meet my husband!
